| Myofunctional Therapy: |

Myofuntional Therapy is a treatment discipline,
which retrains the muscles of the face and neck to function in a balanced system.
Initially oral habits such as thumb sucking, mouth breathing, tongue thrusting,
and nail biting are eliminated and correct posture and function of the muscles
influencing facial development are taught. This therapy will enhance facial
appearance and facilitate better speech and swallowing habits. Exercises also
can be designed to minimize the discomfort of of temperomandibular joint
